  Welcome to Karvio!
KARVIO HOLIDAY RESORT provide accommodation, camping, catering
and enjoyable experiences in the municipality of Heinävesi,
eastern Finland.
The holiday resort is situated on road number 23 on the northern
shores of Lake Kermajärvi.
Our holiday cottages are in use all-round the year while our camping cottages
are available from May to late autumn. Karvio Holiday Resort is open from May 1st to September 15th as is also
the Pizza restaurant. At other times accommodation and catering services are available upon order. Within a distance of approximately ten kilometres are the monastery of
Valamo and the convent of Lintula, the only Orthodox monastery and convent in the Nordic countries. The distance to the main village of Heinävesi is 26 kilometres.
The village of Karvio itself has a petrol station and market.
The Karvio rapids running beside the camping site constitute a fishing zone
that is cared for by Metsähallitus / Wild North and its open almost all year through. We wish you very welcome to Karvio Holiday Resort!  Toukokuu!
